Reputation.
It is being known as the person who can deliver when no one else can.
And here’s the question you have to think about: What is your reputation?
Build Trust
Simply, the person with the greatest reputation wins.
Reputation is everything. Reputation is the difference between the people who win the business, who win the promotion, who win the trust of their customers, of their followers, of the other people in their care, and the people who don’t.
The person with an indestructible reputation is trusted.
They are trusted to get the job done.
They are trusted to lead, and they are trusted to take the biggest problems that exist and to solve them.
That is what reputation is. It is being known as the person who can deliver when no one else can.
Be Known For Your Unbreakable Character
And here’s the question you have to think about: What is your reputation?
What do people think of when they think of you?
Do they think of somebody who gets the job done? Do they think of somebody who finds a way?
Do they think of somebody who figures it out or do they think of somebody who is a complainer?
Somebody who is a quitter?
Somebody who is a gossiper?
What people think of when they think of you has everything to do with your ability to grow your income, to advance your career, to achieve results, to increase your sales, to provide better service.
The person with the reputation gets the shot.
They get the chance, they get the opportunity.
And reputations aren’t built in an instant. Reputations are built over long periods of time of doing the right thing, of doing the things that other people aren’t willing to do. That is what reputation is all about.
Reputation Management is Your Choice
Reputation applies whether you’re an individual.
It applies to your team.
It applies to your entire company.
Every single one of you has a reputation, and the sum total of this team, or this organization, or this company’s reputation is simply the sum total of your individual reputations.
So when you wake up on any given day, you have to make a decision.
You have to decide, “What am I going to be known for? What are people going to think of when they think of me?”
That is what reputation is all about.
