The Brutal Truth About Imposter Syndrome (And the Oversaturation Myth) #140

At some point, every single one of us with a brand has asked this question:

“Is the space I’m trying to step into too saturated?”

Or worse:

“Who am I to do this when there are already so many people doing it better?”

Whether you’re launching a brand, writing a book, starting a podcast, or just daring to dream a little bigger, that whisper of doubt will try its hardest to convince you that you’re not enough.

The name for this feeling is imposter syndrome.

It’s that slightly annoying, slightly dreadful voice that says, “Someone else is more qualified” or “Someone else already said it better.”

Today I want to show you how to kill imposter syndrome once and for all.

The Voice of Doubt Creeps In No Matter What Stage You’re At

I got invited to speak at a massive event for Keller Williams not too long ago.

I looked at the lineup and saw:

Tony Robbins.

Mel Robbins.

Me.

(Yeah. That’ll shake your confidence a bit!)

I’ve been at this for a while now.

I’m a Hall of Fame Speaker and I’ve spoken on stages around the world.

Yet I was still hit with imposter syndrome.

Here’s what I’ve learned: imposter syndrome thrives when you compare yourself to others.

But comparison is irrelevant because the people you’re meant to serve don’t care about Tony or Mel.

They care about you.

The Law of Frequency: Why You Matter

To kill imposter syndrome once and for all, you need to know about the Law of Frequency

Think about radio stations.

Multiple stations can play the same song at the same time, but your radio only tunes into one.

That’s how your audience works.

They’re tuned into your frequency.

And if you don’t show up, all they get is static.

Some people will connect with you because you’re not famous.

Some will hear you because you haven’t written ten books or earned a PhD.

Some will be impacted because you look like them, sound like them, or share their story.

You were divinely designed to reach a specific group of people.

And nobody (I repeat, nobody) can do that job better than you.

You’re Not Competing, You’re Connecting

Personal branding isn’t about being louder, flashier, or more polished than someone else.

It’s about being real.

Sharing your quirks, your scars, your comeback stories.

The idea that the market is “too saturated” is only true if every human on the planet has every need met, is 100% fulfilled, and never feels self-doubt.

Spoiler alert: that’s never going to happen.

So until then, there are people out there right now — literally right now — who are praying for the answer that lives inside your head.

They are searching, hoping, and waiting.

And they won’t find it unless you speak.

Stop the Static. Start Broadcasting

If you’re feeling that calling, that nudge, that pull to step up, it’s not random.

It’s someone’s brainwaves, someone’s soul, tuning in and looking for you.

But all they’re getting is dead air if you let fear silence your message.

This is your invitation to silence imposter syndrome and start serving the people who need your message.

Are you ready to accept it?

If this message hits home, let me encourage you to take the next step.

Don’t let this fire fade.

Sometimes all it takes is one conversation to unlock what’s been stuck for far too long.
