Funnel Fundamentals You Need to Know

If you’re a small business owner, understanding sales funnels is essential for scaling up and achieving success.

Sales funnels are, by far, your best friend.

I never thought I’d ever hear myself say this, but I LOVE funnels.

That is what I recently talked about with my friend, Lauren Cannon.

Today, I want to share with you some of my thoughts related to funnels and constructing funnels.

What’s a Funnel? How does it work?

Sales funnels are essential for small business owners looking to maximize their profits.

A sales funnel is a series of steps designed to nurture potential customers and convert them into paying customers.

It starts with creating awareness about your product or service through marketing activities, such as advertising, content creation, and social media engagement.

From there, you move potential customers further down the funnel by providing more information about your products or services and offering incentives to purchase.

Finally, at the bottom of the funnel is where actual sales take place.

By taking advantage of this process, small business owners can increase their customer base and ultimately boost their revenue.

The Rule of 10 for Increasing Conversion Rates

The Rule of 10 states that if 100 people visit your page, at least 8 should be converted into customers or clients by building trust and adding value before asking them for money.

This means creating an environment where prospects feel comfortable enough with your product or services that they will invest their hard-earned cash in it without hesitation.

By doing so, you’ll see an increase in conversions which will lead to more revenue for your business.

Additionally, when prospects have been given ample value upfront, they are more likely to become repeat customers who can vouch for the quality of what you offer and bring further referrals down the line.

Investing in Templates for Scaling Up

If you’re looking to scale up your business, hiring more people or investing in templates that are already proven to work is a great way to do so.

This can help you save time and money while still providing quality material for your prospects.

Alternatively, scripting services like chatbots can help answer basic questions and direct prospects toward solutions quicker than a live person could.

Additionally, free tools like Canva help you design marketing materials quickly and easily without needing any prior knowledge of graphic design software programs such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

Utilizing these resources can help you produce results faster and at a lower cost than if they were created manually.

These tools make things far more accessible to you as a small business owner.

However, it comes with its own set of flaws.

Your lack of experience handling them can be detrimental to your business instead of giving you a leg up.

Chatbots are still growing and they still can’t match the free-flowing conversational manner of actual interaction with a human, a sales rep, for example, and we all want that connection because it is a way to establish more than just rapport, it helps establish trust, and trust is crucial when it comes to sales, trust helps you build a reputation, which is far more important than making a sale; Reputation is your greatest asset, after all.

Service-Centered Approach to Sales

When making a sale, it’s important to remember that the transaction isn’t finished when the cash is collected.

The sale is only complete once you have delivered results.

This service-centered approach will not only help build relationships with clients and customers, but it can also lead to reputation growth and financial gain over time.

By prioritizing trust before transactions and over-delivering on your promises, you ensure that your prospects are left feeling positive about their experiences with your business which in turn leads them to recommend others or return for further purchases.

At the end of the day, there is no dollar value that can be placed on compromising trust and reputation, and this is why it’s so important to make sure you are delivering the best results possible.

Understanding sales funnels is essential for small business owners looking to scale up their operations and achieve success.

Utilizing the rule of 10 will help build trust so prospects feel comfortable investing in your product or services.

Additionally, investing in templates that are proven to work and taking a service-centered approach toward transactions can help lead to financial gain and increase reputation, and as you well know, reputation is the absolute endgame.

We’ve been working for years, like multiple years, creating something that we’re about to launch, that’s called instant automation toolkit, where we’re just going to give you our funnels, and you can just pile them, and you can have ours like you can buy them and make them yours.

You can rent them for a very affordable price, and you can start using them to build your entire business!
